China Leisure Sports Administrative Center announced that it will launch the first National Traktor Poker Tournament in China and has selected WPT Enterprises, Inc. as the exclusive marketing partner for the Tour. The tour will focus on the sport of Traktor Poker, known as Tuo La Ji, China's most popular poker game.

In one of the best final tables in recent memory, Allen Cunningham won the $5,000 Pot-Limit Holdem tournament at the 2007 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. 398 players made for a prize pool of just over 1.8 million.

Event #10 of the 2007 World Series of Poker was the $2,000 No-Limit Holdem event that had a monster field of 1,531 players. First place paid out over a half million dollars to William Durkee who outlasted this big field.

The $1000 No Limit Hold 'Em (w/rebuys) was Event #8 at the 2007 World Series of Poker. The field was 844 players competing for a purse of over $2.5 million with a top prize of over half a million.

Gary Styczynski won Event #6, the $1,500 Limit Holdem tournament at the 2007 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The field had 910 players for a prize pool of over $1.3 million. Styczynski took home over $280,000 for winning the WSOP bracelet.

The World Series of Poker has begun in Las Vegas and over the next month and a half will see 55 bracelets awarded including the big one in the $10,000 main event Championship which begins in July.
