With an impressive result of 131-92 in Boston Celtics history, they achieved 22 years later their 17th Championship Ring, the first one for the current NBA champions Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. The great beginning for the Lakers didn’t augur the unusual result at the end of the game.
